Ok real talk because i keep seeing one of the popular free tools all over comparison articles and i can’t figure out the actual pricing
is one of the popular free tools free or not? their landing page says “free” in like three places but then when you actually try to use it you hit limits immediately and everything points toward upgrading.
i’ve seen this pattern with a lot of these tools - the “free” label means 3 requests of 150 words or something, which is basically a trial not a free plan. is one of the popular free tools free in any meaningful way for actual use?
asking because i’m trying to put together a shortlist of genuinely free options for our team (small studio, 4 people, can’t justify per-seat pricing for occasional humanizer use). the tools that have actually worked for us without friction: a dedicated humanizer tool free tier is honest about its limits, a free humanizer option was genuinely free for a long time. but i keep seeing one of the popular free tools in lists and i can’t tell if it’s legitimately free or just well-marketed.
