Free AI Writing Generator for Design Briefs - What Are You Using?

bit of a different question: is anyone using a free AI writing generator specifically for design briefs, creative briefs, project proposals?

i’m not asking about humanizers - i’m asking about the generation side. i’ve found that chatgpt is okay for this but the brief format it produces is very generic and doesn’t reflect how i actually structure briefs for different project types.

specifically looking for something that can:

  • take a few bullet points about a project and output a structured brief
  • understand design-specific terminology and project types
  • produce output that doesn’t require 30 minutes of editing to be usable

the free AI writing generator tools i’ve tried are mostly focused on blog posts and marketing copy. the design brief use case is more structured and technical.

side question: does anyone run their generated briefs through a humanizer afterward? or do you just edit manually? i’ve started humanizing briefs before sending to clients because the raw AI output is too obviously templated, but i wonder if there’s a better way to get good output from the generation step instead

Free AI writing generator for design briefs: chatgpt with a strong brief template in the system prompt gets closest for me. i have a template that includes project type, client type, deliverables section, timeline section, and success metrics. the output with that context is much better than generic generators

The free AI writing generator tools that work for structured design content are usually the general ones with good prompts rather than brief-specific tools. the brief-specific tools i’ve tried are too rigid. chatgpt + a detailed template prompt produces more usable output

@CrispestHaze88 template prompt approach is the right call. i’ve tried several ‘design brief generator’ tools and they’re all too generic. a well-crafted chatgpt prompt that incorporates your actual brief structure is much better and free

On the humanizing briefs question: i do run generated briefs through a dedicated humanizer tool before client-facing use. not primarily for detection but because the AI-generated phrasing in briefs can feel too formal and transactional. humanizing it down to a more direct, conversational register helps

Free AI writing generator + humanizer workflow for briefs: the combined approach (generate structure, humanize tone, manual fill-in of specific details) has cut my brief writing time significantly. the key is the manual fill-in step at the end - the specifics always have to come from you
