# Creatisimo

> Creatisimo is a discussion forum focused on AI in creative work: AI image tools, telling AI images from photos, content credentials and AI in design.

Threads open with a short, self-contained answer, then the discussion. Posts marked Staff are written by the forum team and cite primary sources. Dates on every post are machine-readable. Each thread is also available as Markdown: replace the trailing slash of its URL with `.md`.

## [AI image tools](https://creatisimo.net/f/ai-image-tools/)
Midjourney, Firefly, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion and the rest: licensing, settings, output quality and which tool fits which kind of creative job.

- [Midjourney or Firefly for client work: which one can you actually license?](https://creatisimo.net/topic/midjourney-or-firefly-for-client-work-which-one-can-you-actually/): Neither tool gives you a clean "licensed, no questions" stamp, but they carry different kinds of risk.

## [Is this AI?](https://creatisimo.net/f/is-this-ai/)
Telling AI images from photos and hand-made art: visual tells, metadata, detectors and what each check can and cannot prove about one picture.

- [How to check if an image is AI generated: start here](https://creatisimo.net/topic/how-to-check-if-an-image-is-ai-generated-start-here/): No single check proves an image is AI generated or real.

## [Content credentials](https://creatisimo.net/f/content-credentials/)
C2PA, Content Credentials, invisible watermarks and EXIF: how provenance is attached to an image, where it gets stripped and how to read it.

## [Showcase](https://creatisimo.net/f/showcase/)
Share a project and the process behind it: hand-made, AI-assisted or mixed, with the tools, the steps and what you would change next time.
